Add a recipient to an envelope.

Required fields are indicated in red.

Unless otherwise mentioned, all fields are text.

Options

  • Accounts (drop-down): choose from available DocuSign accounts
  • Recipient Type (drop-down): choose from available recipient types

Input

The input fields for this card are dynamically generated based on your selection in Options.

  • Email: email address of the recipient
  • Name: name of the recipient
  • Recipient ID: ID of the recipient
  • Routing Order: the routing order of the recipient
  • Envelope ID: unique ID of the envelope
  • Notary Name: name of notary
  • Notary Email: email address of notary
  • Notary Note: note unique to the notary
  • Witness For: whose signature is being witnessed
  • Access Code: access code recipient must enter to validate identity
  • Note: note unique to recipient
  • Custom Fields: custom data about the recipient
  • Role Name: role of the recipient
  • Auto Navigation (true/false): whether auto navigation is enabled
  • Sign In Each Location (true/false): whether recipient must sign at each signature point
  • Phone Authentication (list): list of phone numbers the recipient can use for voice authentication
  • SMS Authentication (list): list of phone numbers the recipient can use for SMS text authentication
  • Host Name: name of signing host
  • Host Email: email address of signing host
  • Signer Name: name of signer

Output

  • Status Code (number): success or failure of the action; here is a list of all status codes
  • Recipient ID: ID of the recipient
  • Name: name of the recipient
  • Email: email address of the recipient
