Delete the Okta Verify app from a macOS device

You can delete the Okta Verify app from your macOS device at any time.

  1. Remove all accounts from Okta Verify.

    1. From a browser, open your Okta End-User Dashboard.

    2. Go to SettingsSecurity Methods and find the Okta Verify account you want to delete.

    3. Click Remove.

  2. Drag the Okta Verify icon to the trash.

  3. Optional. Confirm that Okta Verify was deleted from the device:
    1. In a browser, go to the Okta End-User Dashboard.
    2. Click your username at the top-right of the page, and then click Settings.
    3. In the Security Methods section, under Okta Verify, verify that the applicable device isn't listed. If it is, click Remove.
