Configure Tines for AI agent imports
To import AI agents from Tines, generate an API key in your Tines account console and then configure the Tines integration in Okta.
After you've completed these configurations, follow the steps in Enable AI agent imports for an app.
Before you begin
- You have the tenant owner role in Tines.
- You have permission to manage apps in Okta.
- You've integrated the Tines app in your org. See Add app integrations
Generate an API key in Tines
Okta uses an API key to authenticate requests to the Tines API.
- Sign in to your Tines account console using an account with the account admin role.
- Go to .
- Click New.
- Select Tenant owner.
- Enter a descriptive name for the key (for example,
okta-ai-agent-import). - Optional. Enter a description for the key.
- Click Save.
- Copy and securely store the resulting token secret.
Note:
You can't retrieve the token secret after you close this dialog.
Configure Tines in Okta
Add your Tines API key to the app instance in Okta.

In the Admin Console, go to .
- Search for and select your Tines app instance.
- Go to the AI Agent Import tab.

In Configuration, enter the following details:
- API key: The token secret that you generated in your Tines account console.
- Team IDs: Optional. Enter one or more team IDs to only import AI agents from those teams. Leave this field empty to import AI agents from all teams.
- Click Test API Credentials to verify connectivity between Okta and Tines.
- Click Save.
