External IDs for AI agent providers
Learn how external IDs identify AI agents across third-party providers.
The external ID is a unique identifier that’s assigned to an AI agent in its third-party builder platform. When you manually add an AI agent in Okta, you can specify the platform and external ID. For automated imports, the external ID is configured at the provider level and is automatically populated across all imported AI agent records. Use the documentation links on this page to locate the external ID for an AI agent. The External ID column indicates how the ID is represented in the builder platform.
