Endpoint security integration prerequisites

Verify the following prerequisites before integrating Okta Verify with your endpoint detection and response (EDR) solution:

  • Okta Identity Engine org is enabled.

  • Okta FastPass is configured. See Configure Okta FastPass.

  • EDR is enabled for your org.

  • Targeted devices are enrolled in Okta Verify:

    • macOS: devices are registered and managed.

    • Windows: devices are registered but don't need to be managed.

  • Okta Verify client:

    • macOS: Okta Verify version 1.9.0 or later.

    • Windows: Okta Verify version 1.3.100.3 or later.

  • Device operating system:

    • macOS 10.15 (Catalina) or later, enrolled in Okta Verify and registered.

    • Windows 10 (1709) or later, 32-bit and 64-bit, enrolled in Okta Verify and registered.

  • Endpoint security integration solution:

    • macOS: CrowdStrike Falcon Agent 6.14 or higher.

    • Windows: CrowdStrike Falcon Agent 6.14 or higher and Windows Security Center.
