Integrate Toggl with Okta

Enable provisioning for the Toggl app instance to integrate with Okta.

Before you begin

  • You have a Toggl account with admin privileges.
  • You have the Toggl org ID. To find it, go to your Toggl org settings page. The org ID is the integer in the URL: https://accounts.toggl.com/console/organization/<OrganizationID>/overview/
  • You have the Toggl workspace ID. To find it, go to your Toggl workspace settings page and copy the integer in the URL: https://track.toggl.com/<WorkspaceID>/settings/general
  • You have your Toggl username and password. Each admin must use their own separate credentials for provisioning. Sharing credentials between admins results in authentication errors.
  • You have permission to manage apps in Okta.
  1. In the Admin Console, go to Applications > Applications.
  2. Click Browse App Catalog.
  3. Search for and select Toggl, and then click Add Integration.
  4. In General Settings, enter your Application label, Organization ID, and Workspace ID.
  5. Optional. Select Entitlement management.
  6. Click Done.
  7. Go to the Provisioning tab, click Integration, and then click Configure API Integration.
  8. Select Enable API Integration.
  9. Enter your Username and Password.
  10. Click Test API Credentials.
  11. When the authorization process is complete, click Save.
  12. Select To App under Settings.
  13. Click Edit, and then select the provisioning features that you want to enable.
  14. Click Save.
Toggl supported features
