Edit a resource set
Super admins can edit the resources sets that are available for an admin role.
Before you begin
- 
                                                                Ensure that you're signed in as a super admin. 
Start the task
- 
                                                            In the Admin Console, go to . 
- Go to the Resources tab. The tab displays a list of previously created resource sets and their descriptions.
- For the resource set that you want to modify, click Edit.
- From the dropdown list, select Edit resource set. To delete the resource set, click Delete resource set.
- Click the pencil icon to edit the resource set. To go back to the Resources tab, click Cancel.
- On the Add resource page, modify the resources as required.
- 
                                                            Follow the instructions in the tool tips for creating more efficient roles. 
- Click Save selection.
You can use Okta-sourced, AD-sourced, and LDAP-sourced groups as resources. However, the following permissions aren't applicable to AD-sourced and LDAP-sourced groups:
- Create users
- Manage users' authenticator operations
- Edit users' profile attributes
- Manage group membership
