Create realms

Early Access release

You can create realms for your org and delegate admin roles to users within those realms. Delegated realm admins can also create or delete realms if they have All Realms and Manage Realms permissions assigned to them as a part of the resource set. When the realms feature is enabled, a default realm that contains all users is created for your org. The default realm can’t be deleted.

Before you begin

Ensure that you’re signed in to Admin Console as a super admin, org admin, or custom admin with All realms and Manage realms permission.

Create a realm

  1. In the Admin Console, go to Directory Realms.
  2. Click Create new realm.
  3. Enter a realm name, and then click Create realm.

Your newly created realms are available on the Realms page.

Edit or delete a realm

  1. In the Admin Console, go to Directory Realms.

  2. Select a realm.

  3. Click Actions, and then select Edit or Delete.

  4. If you selected Edit make your changes, and then click Save.

  5. If you selected Delete, confirm by clicking Delete realm.
