Connect an AI agent to a service account

Early Access release

If your org uses service accounts that are managed in Okta Privileged Access, you can create a managed connection for this resource type. The managed connection uses username and password credentials to grant access to an AI agent, and isn't as secure as the authorization server or vaulted secret resource types.

Before you begin

Start this task

  1. In the Admin Console, go to DirectoryAI Agents.

  2. Select a registered AI agent.
  3. Select the Managed connections tab.
  4. Click Add connection. The Add connection page opens.
  5. Select the Service account resource type.
  6. Select an app and a service account.
  7. Accept or modify the Resource Indicator. This is the identifier that the AI agent uses when it requests the secret from Okta.
  8. Click Add. On the Managed connections tab, the service account appears as a connected resource.
