Manage an AI agent

Early Access release

After you register an AI agent, you can activate it, update its ownership, or update its credentials. You may also deactivate an agent if you need to disconnect an app.

Activate or deactivate an AI agent

To activate the agent, you must first assign the owner, configure credentials, and link an app instance. See Register an AI agent.

In the Admin Console, go to DirectoryAI Agents.
Click the actions menu, and then select Activate or Deactivate.
Click Save.

Edit an AI agent

In the Admin Console, go to DirectoryAI Agents.
Click the actions menu, and then select View.
Go to the Profile tab and select Edit.
Update the name or description.
Click Save.

Update the ownership of AI agent

In the Admin Console, go to DirectoryAI Agents.
Click the actions menu, and then select View.
Go to the Owners tab and select Edit.
On the dialog that appears, complete the following:
- Select Assign individual owners or Assign a group owner.
- If you selected individual owners, use the field to assign up to five users.
Click Save.

Update the credentials of an AI agent

You must always have at least one active credential. You can't delete or deactivate your only active credential.

In the Admin Console, go to DirectoryAI Agents.
Click an AI agent.
Select the Credentials tab.
Click the actions menu, and then select Activate, Deactivate, or Delete.

Disconnect an app instance

You must first deactivate the AI agent to disconnect an app instance.

In the Admin Console, go to DirectoryAI Agents.
Click an agent to disconnect from an app instance.
Click Disconnect application.

Delete an AI agent

You can only delete an inactive agent. If an agent is active, you must first deactivate it to be able to delete it.

In the Admin Console, go to DirectoryAI Agents.
Click the actions menu, and then select Delete.
Click Save.
