Enable provisioning for your Linear instance to integrate with Okta.
Before you begin
- You have a Linear account with admin or owner privileges.
- You have an OAuth application configured in Linear with
read, write, and admin scopes. To create one, in Linear, go to and click New Application.
- You have permission to manage apps in Okta.

In the Admin Console, go to .

Click Browse App Catalog.

Search for and select Linear, and then click Add Integration.

On the General tab, enter the Application label.

Click Done.

Go to the Provisioning tab and click Integration.

Select Enable API integration.
Note:
Linear uses OAuth to integrate with its API. The integration uses your Linear admin credentials to authorize Okta to perform provisioning actions on behalf of the Linear admin.

Click Authenticate with Linear. Sign in to your Linear account and grant the required permissions.

When the authorization process is complete, click Save.

Select To App under Settings. Click Edit, and then select the provisioning features that you want to enable.

Click Save.
