Reset multifactor authentication for end users

If you need to reset multifactor authentication (MFA), you can select users and reset their enrolled authenticators. End users have to set up their authenticators again.

Reset one or multiple authenticators for a single user

This action resets any configured authenticators that you select for an individual user. The user must set up their authenticators again.

  1. In the Admin Console, go to DirectoryPeople.

  2. Click the user whose multifactor authentication you want to reset.
  3. Click More Actions Reset Authenticators.
  4. Select the factors that you want to reset and then click either Reset Selected Authenticators. A confirmation prompt appears. Click Reset to proceed. This action can't be undone.
