Add Mobile Device to Static Mobile Device Group

Add a mobile device to a static mobile device group in Jamf Pro Classic API.

Options

Field Definition Type Required
Select Group By Choose one of the following options as the group identifier for the Mobile Device Group input field:
  • ID: Unique ID of the mobile device group.
  • Name: Name of the mobile device group.

Add Mobile Device By Choose one of the following options as the device identifier for the Mobile Device input field:
  • ID: Unique ID of the mobile device.

  • UDID: Unique device ID of the mobile device.

  • MAC Address: Unique identifier assigned to a network address.

  • Serial Number: Serial number of the mobile device.

Output

Field Definition Type
Status Code Result of the operation. The HTTP status code is returned by the connector and indicates whether the action taken by the card succeeded or failed. For example:
  • A 201 Created status code indicates success where a new resource was created.
  • A 403 Forbidden error indicates that the HTTP request was not processed because the necessary permissions were missing.
