Search Data Subjects

Search data subjects in OneTrust.


Field Definition Type Required
Result Set Choose one of the following options to display your search results:
  • First Matching Record: returns a single record

  • All Matching Records: returns all matching records, in list format

Collection Point Choose a collection point from the list, or select -- Enter Collection Point ID -- to enter one in the Collection Point ID field. Dropdown TRUE
Collection Point ID Enter a collection point ID in this field if -- Enter Collection Point ID -- is selected as the value for Collection Point. For example, an ID could be an email address or an Okta ID. String FALSE

Identifier Identifier of the data subject. String FALSE
Updated Since Data subjects that were created on or after this date will be searched. Valid date formats are yyyy-mm-dd and yyyy-mm-ddThh:mm:ss Date & Time FALSE

These fields are dynamically generated based on the chosen collection point.


Field Definition Type

When First Matching Record is selected, the following fields are returned. When All Matching Records is chosen, a list of Data Subjects is returned, with each entry in the list containing the following fields.

Status Code

Result of the operation. The connector returns an HTTP status code that indicates whether the action taken by the card succeeded or failed. For example:

  • A 201 Created status code indicates success where a new resource was created.
  • A 403 Forbidden error indicates that the HTTP request wasn't processed because the necessary permissions were missing.

ID Unique identifier of the data subject (for example, 11a407a1-0bd7-4bdd-859b-722a73545b9d). String
Identifier Identifier of the data subject (for example, an email address). String
Identifier Type Type of identifier of the data subject (for example, Email). String
Language Language of the data subject. String
Created Date When the issue was created. Date & Time
Updated Date When the issue was updated. Date & Time
Data Elements Data element that belongs to the data subject. Object
