Clear flow execution history

If you want to clear the data or metadata for your flow executions, there are two options:

  1. You can delete all input and output (IO) data collected for your flow, but keep the execution metadata. The Execution History side panel still displays the execution status and time stamp for each execution. However, any data that passed through the flow is no longer available.

If you delete the IO data, the Execution History page displays an information banner on who deleted the IO data and when the action occurred. This action is recorded in the Okta System Log.

  2. You can delete all IO data and the metadata for the flow.

Start this task

  1. Open the Flows page in the Workflows Console.

  2. Select and open the flow where you want to clear the execution history.

  3. Click the Execution History tab.

  4. Click Clear data at the top right of the Execution History side panel.

  5. In the Clear Data dialog, choose one of the options:

    • Clear IO data but keep execution metadata: This option clears only the IO data saved for this flow.

    • Clear entire execution history: This option clears the saved IO data and the metadata for this flow.

  6. Click Confirm to complete the action and delete the data. Or, if you decide to keep the saved data for this flow, click Cancel.
