Authorization

When you add a CrowdStrike card to a flow for the first time, Okta Workflows prompts you to configure the connection. This connection links to your CrowdStrike account and saves your account information, so you can reuse the connection for future CrowdStrike flows.

You can create multiple unique connections and manage them from the Connections page in the Okta Workflows Console.

Before you begin

To create a CrowdStrike API client, you must be a CrowdStrike Falcon Administrator. Follow these steps to create a CrowdStrike API client:

  1. Open the CrowdStrike Falcon console.
  2. From the sidebar, go to Support and Resources.
  3. Under the Support and Resources option, click API Clients and Keys.
    1. Add a client name and description.
    2. Select User Management from the listed scopes.
    3. Provide read and write permissions to the listed scopes.
  4. Click Create.
  5. Copy the Client ID and the Client Secret from your API client.
