Update an incident in your PagerDuty instance.

Email address of the user who will update the incident.

Type

Type of integration that can be used to trigger an incident. The type can be incident or incident_reference.

Due to a PagerDuty API limitation, if an incident is triggered as incident, it can't be changed to incident_reference. But an incident can be triggered through the API as either type.

Status Code

Result of the operation. The connector returns an HTTP status code that indicates whether the action taken by the card succeeded or failed. For example:

  • A 201 Created status code indicates success where a new resource was created.
  • A 403 Forbidden error indicates that the HTTP request wasn't processed because the necessary permissions were missing.
