Delete a certificate

Effective May 1, 2026, Okta will no longer sell or renew Advanced Server Access. Existing customers must migrate to Okta Privileged Access within one year of their next scheduled renewal date to maintain service.

Teams can delete certificates from the Advanced Server Access dashboard. Teams can't delete a certificate associated with Active Directory connections. Teams must first update the connections to use another certificate or authentication method. See Add a certificate to an Active Directory connection.

  1. Open the Advanced Server Access dashboard.
  2. In the user menu, click Team Settings.
  3. Go to the Passwordless Certificates tab.
  4. Identify the created certificate record.
  5. Click gear icon. > Delete.
  6. In the confirmation window, click Delete.
