Configure Okta SSO in 1Password Business
This page helps you configure Okta as the identity provider (IdP) for 1Password Business.
- Sign in to 1Password Business.
- Select Policies from the side pane.
- Under the Configure Identity Provider, select Manage.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to set up Unlock with SSO.
- When prompted for Client ID, paste the value that you copied in the previous step.
- Find your Okta well-known URL using the Okta documentation. Enter the Okta Well-known URL in one of the following formats: https://DOMAIN.okta.com/.well-known/openid-configurationYOUR_OKTA_[DOMAIN.okta.com/.well-known/openid-configuration](https://DOMAIN.okta.com/.well-known/openid-configuration) or YOUR_OKTA_[DOMAIN.okta.com/oauth2/default/.well-known/openid-configuration](https://DOMAIN.okta.com/oauth2/default/.well-known/openid-configuration)
- Click Next and Test the connection.
To save your configuration changes and maintain access to 1Password Business, you must successfully authenticate with Okta.
Required claims
1Password Business requires the subject, name, and email claims from Okta. Typically, no configuration changes are needed on your end, as Okta automatically provides these claims by default.
Test the connection
Go back to the Configure Identity Provider page in your 1Password account and follow these steps:
- Select Test Connection. You're redirected to the Okta sign-in page and then returned to 1Password Business. This verifies connectivity between 1Password Business and Okta.
- Click Save.
