Integrate Sumo Logic with Okta

Enable provisioning for the Sumo Logic app instance to integrate with Okta.

Before you begin

  • You know your Sumo Logic region. See Sumo Logic SCIM User API.
  • You have a Sumo Logic access ID and access key with the Users and Roles scope. To generate them in Sumo Logic, go to Administration > Security > Access Keys.
  • You have permission to manage apps in Okta.

Procedure

  1. In the Admin Console, go to Applications and Resources > Applications.
  2. Click Browse App Catalog.
  3. Search for and select Sumo Logic, and then click Add Integration.
  4. On the General Settings tab, enter an Application label.
  5. Click Done.
  6. Select the Provisioning tab, click Integration, and then click Configure API Integration.
  7. Select the Enable API Integration checkbox.
  8. Select your Region.
    If you select Enter Region Name, enter the region in the Enter Region Name field.
  9. Enter your Access ID and Access Key.
  10. Click Test API Credentials.
  11. When the authorization process is complete, click Save.
  12. Select To App under Settings. Click Edit, and then select the provisioning features that you want to enable.
  13. Click Save.
