Generate the auditor reporting package

Generate campaign-specific reports to help simplify audit and compliance preparation.

Before you begin

  • The Create auditor reporting package checkbox was selected for the campaign before it launched.

  • The campaign has closed. After the campaign closes, a reporting package can have one of the following statuses:

    • PENDING CAMPAIGN CLOSE: The campaign is currently open and needs to be closed with manual remediation completed before Okta can prepare the auditor reporting package.

    • PENDING REPORT GENERATION: All prerequisites are complete. You must click Generate reports to begin reporting package generation.

    • PENDING MANUAL REMEDIATION: The campaign ended but there are review items that require manual remediation. When you click Generate reports, you're asked to confirm that all manual remediation is complete before Okta can initiate reporting package generation.

    • GENERATING REPORTS: Okta is in the process of generating the reporting package. However, some reports may be available for you to download.

    • READY FOR DOWNLOAD: Okta generated the reporting package and it's ready for you to download.

    • ERROR: Okta wasn't able to generate one or more reports. You can't retry report generation manually.

Start this task

  1. In the Admin Console, go to Identity Governance Access Certifications Reporting.

  2. Optional. Filter for a campaign based on its start or end date, or the report status. Alternatively, search for the campaign using the campaign name or ID in the search box.

  3. Check that all manual remediation for a campaign has been completed.

  4. Click Generate reports for a campaign with the report status as PENDING REPORT GENERATION or PENDING MANUAL REMEDIATION. If manual remediation is required, you're prompted to confirm all remediation has been completed. When you confirm, Okta can continue report generation but it doesn't remediate user access for review items that require manual remediation.

  5. After the status changes to READY FOR DOWNLOAD, expand the campaign's row and click Download for each report.
