Integrate WordPress with Okta

Enable provisioning for the WordPress app instance to integrate with Okta.

Before you begin

  • You have a WordPress account with admin access to the target site.
  • You have the domain name of your WordPress site.
  • You have permission to manage apps in Okta.

Procedure

  1. In the Admin Console, go to Applications > Applications.
  2. Click Browse App Catalog.
  3. Search for and select WordPress, and then click Add Integration.
  4. In General Settings, enter your Application label and Site Domain.
    • Site ID: Enter the domain name of your WordPress site. For example, example.wordpress.com.
  5. Optional. If you use Okta Identity Governance, select Entitlement management.
  6. Click Done.
  7. Go to the Provisioning tab, click Integration, and then click Configure API Integration.
  8. Select Enable API Integration.
  9. Click Authenticate with WordPress.
  10. Sign in to your WordPress account and click Connect.
  11. When the authorization process is complete, click Save.
  12. Select To App under Settings. Click Edit, and then select the provisioning features that you want to enable.
  13. Click Save.
