| Push new users |
- Users created in Okta are sent an email invite to activate their WordPress account. The invitee must accept the invite to become an active site user.
- A role is required when you assign a new user in Okta. For non-governance orgs, the least-privileged role, Contributor, is assigned by default.
- The username and email address must be the same and unique.

| Push profile updates |
- Updates that you make to a user in Okta are applied to WordPress.
- You can't update the username or email address. Editing an existing username creates a new user account in WordPress and removes the previous one.
- Role is the only attribute that push profile updates can update. You can't update the role for a pending user who hasn't accepted their invite.

| Push user deactivation |
- Deactivating a user, or removing their access to the app in Okta, deletes their account in WordPress.
- Only active users (users that have accepted the invite) can be deleted.

| Import new users |
- Only active user accounts in WordPress are imported into Okta.
- Assignments tied to pending, unaccepted invites aren't eligible for import.

| Entitlement Management |
- You can manage app entitlements for WordPress in Okta. Entitlement management requires Okta Identity Governance.
- The integration supports site role assignments. Supported roles are Administrator, Editor, Author, and Contributor.
