Get File Permissions

Look up the permission settings of a particular user for a particular file.

Unless otherwise indicated, field types are text.

Required fields are indicated by a red asterisk.

  • Is case sensitive Search? (dropdown): While comparing user data and permissions, Yes indicates that no change will be made to any value in the search results from Google Drive when comparing user data and permissions; No (default) indicates that each permission property will be formatted to lower case and then compared to the user value.

  • Search By (dropdown): Email (default) retrieves permissions by email address; Domain retrieves permissions by domain value; Anyone selects the first permission with type anyone (results are not affected by the values from the Is case sensitive Search? dropdown).

Note: If Anyone is selected, no input field will appear in the card's input section. This option will not require any specific search criteria.
