Test the Okta Workflows integration
Limited Early Access release
After creating flows and resource sets, do the following steps to test the Okta Workflows integration with ISPM.
Before you begin
-
You or the user who will trigger the workflow must have access to ISPM console. Having access to Okta Workflows is also useful for checking the workflow status and execution details directly in the Workflows console.
-
You've configured the Okta ISPM - SSO OIDC app with ISPM for the Okta org. This allows ISPM to connect to Okta Workflows for the org. See Configure Single Sign-On for Okta.
-
You've connected the same Okta org (that you used for SSO) as a connected source in ISPM. If you haven't, complete the steps in Okta integration.
-
Ensure that Okta Workflows is configured for ISPM.
-
The Workflow connector instance used in the delegated flow is the same as the connected source instance in the ISPM for which you want to take a remediation action for.
Start this task
Check that the required flows are available for use in the ISPM Console.
-
In the ISPM console, go to Issues.
-
Select the issue you want to remediate.
-
Click Remediate and then Select Workflow.
-
Check that the required flows are available. If not, sign out from the ISPM console and sign in again or make sure you meet the requirements listed in Before you begin section.
-
-
Check that the users can view and run the flows in ISPM by running a flow as a remediation response in a sandbox environment.
-
Check the workflow status and execution details directly in Okta Workflows.
Only delegated flows are supported, and users can only see flows they are permitted to execute.
