Create an authentication policy

Create an authentication policy for an app if you don't want to use a preset policy or share an existing policy. When you create a policy, it starts with a single catch-all rule that allows access to all requests with two factor types.

Start this task

1. In the Admin Console, go to SecurityAuthentication Policies.

2. Click Add a policy.
3. Enter a policy Name and Description.
4. Click Save.

The next step is to either add rules to your policy or edit the catch-all rule. Adding your own rules and prioritizing them over the catch-all lets you configure user access.
