Authorization

When you add a Adobe User Management card to a flow for the first time, Okta Workflows prompts you to configure the connection. This connection links to your Adobe User Management account and saves your account information, so you can reuse the connection for future Adobe User Management flows.

You can create multiple unique connections and manage them from the Connections page in the Okta Workflows Console.

See Guidance for Adobe User Management connector for information about account types, licenses, and scopes.

Before you begin

To obtain the credentials you need to access the Adobe User Management service, create a service account integration using the Adobe Developer Console.

Create a service account integration

Adobe User Management is deprecating the use of Service Account (JWT) credentials in favor of OAuth Server-to-Server credentials.

For information about migrating your credential, see the Adobe Developer Migration Guide.

  1. Go to https://developer.adobe.com/.

  2. Sign in with your Adobe User Management system administrator credentials.

  3. Click Console.

  4. Click APIs and services and open the APIs tab.

  5. Enter User into the Search field.

  6. Click Create Project for the User Management API service.

  7. Select the OAuth Server-to-Server option and click Save configured API.

  8. Click the OAuth Server-to-Server section in your new project.

  9. Click Retrieve client secret.

  10. Copy the following field information from the OAuth Server-to-Server page:

    • Client ID

    • Client Secret

    • Organization ID: This value comes from the Adobe Developer Console project. For example, org_ident@AdobeOrg.
