Authorization
When you add a Slack card to a flow for the first time, Okta prompts you to set up a connection for that workspace. Setting up a connection allows you to connect the flow to your Slack account, save the data, and reuse that connection when you next build a flow with this card.
You can create multiple connections and manage them from the Connections page.
A connection for the Slack connector can only point to one Slack workspace. In an Enterprise Grid org, the connection fails if the account contains multiple workspaces.
To create a connection from an event or action card:
-
Click New Connection.
-
Add a Connection Nickname. This is useful if you plan to create multiple connections to share with your team.
-
Click Create.
-
Select a Slack account. The dialog prompts you to sign in to a Slack account if you aren't signed in.
-
Click Authorize to grant access to your Slack data. This allows the flow to send messages on your behalf.
You can reuse this connection any time that you use the Slack card in a flow. You can also set up and save multiple connections to share them with your teammates.
