Resource owners
Okta enables you to manage your org's resources, which include apps, bundles, groups, and entitlements. In most orgs, the owners of resources are a mix of IT and business units.
Group, app, entitlement, entitlement bundle, and resource collection owners are considered resource owners. Assigning resource owners helps you manage access to resources efficiently. Use resource owners in Access Requests and Access Certifications to provide the right stakeholder with oversight on the users who have access to the resource:

- Assign approvals, tasks, or questions to resource owners while configuring approval sequences associated with access request conditions. See Configure an approval sequence.
- Access Certifications
- Assign resource owners as a reviewer when you create access certification campaigns. See Access reviews.
Owners can be assigned to the following resource types:
- Apps
- Bundles
- Entitlements
- Groups
- Resource collections
You can assign either one group or up to five users as the owners of a resource, but you can't combine users and a group.
