Integrate 1Password Business with Okta
Use this page to configure Okta as the identity provider (IdP) for the 1Password Business app.
Before you begin
- You have permission to manage users, groups, and apps in Okta.
- You have a 1Password Business or enterprise account with administrative privileges.
- You've reviewed the considerations and requirements that are outlined in the Setup 1Password Unlock with SSO guide.
Configure the app in Okta

In the Admin Console, go to .
- Click Browse App Catalog.
- Search for and select 1Password Business, and then click Add Integration.
- For OIDC, only update the Domain Name field as mentioned:
- In the Domain Name field, enter your domain. For example, if your sign-in URL is [https://1password.test.com/], enter the value as 1password.test.com.
- Click Next.
- In the Sign On Settings tab, select OpenID Connect.
- Select the desired user or group assignments and click Save.
- After adding the app integration, from the Sign On tab, copy the Client ID.
Before you configure Unlock with SSO in 1Password Business, you first assign yourself to the newly created app. The email address used to sign in to 1Password Business must match the email address used to sign in to Okta.
