Send a chat message in Microsoft Teams.

Message Type Type of chat message. The default setting is message.

Created Date Time Date and time at which the chat was created.

Chat ID If the message was sent in a chat, represents the identity of the chat.

Importance Importance of the chat message. The possible values are: normal, high, urgent.

Locale Locale of the chat message set by the client.

From Details of the sender of the chat message. Can only be set during migration.

Body Plaintext/HTML representation of the content of the chat message.

Status Code

Result of the operation. The connector returns an HTTP status code that indicates whether the action taken by the card succeeded or failed. For example:

  • A 201 Created status code indicates success where a new resource was created.
  • A 403 Forbidden error indicates that the HTTP request wasn't processed because the necessary permissions were missing.
