Use Okta Workflows with Identity Security Posture Management (ISPM) to initiate on-demand custom remediation actions directly from the ISPM console as a response to issue detections for your org.
You can take remediation actions in Okta or other ISPM-connected sources that have an Okta Workflows connector. This integration helps streamline your remediation processes and resolve ISPM-detected issues faster. It also provides you with a unified experience across Okta offerings. If you want to initiate remediation actions automatically as a response to issue detections or use third-party workflow tools, configure an event hook instead.
Okta Workflows is a no-code automation platform that automates many business processes using a library of integrated third-party apps and functions. When you configure ISPM with Okta Workflows, ISPM is authorized to view and run delegated flows in Okta Workflows on behalf of a configured user account based on the roles and permissions that the account has.
ISPM can access all delegated flows as part of the Okta environment, but you can only run the flows that you have access to. The delegated flow must be assigned to you as a resource set.
